We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your business records. This policy outlines how your store configurations and sales activities are handled.

1. Data Collection & Synchronization

If you enable Cloud Sync, Shwe POS securely uploads inventory lists, transaction ledgers, employee accounts, and business valuation summaries to your secure cloud database instance. When Cloud Sync is disabled, your store records remain 100% local inside your browser or device storage and are never transmitted to us.

2. Application Permissions & Privacy

Our POS application requests camera permission solely to facilitate live barcode scanning. The camera stream is processed entirely client-side and is never recorded, stored, or sent to any server. Storage permission is requested to export spreadsheets (CSV/Excel reports) or render PDF receipts locally.

3. Store Customization Media

If you customize your printed invoice by uploading a shop logo, the image is securely hosted on our cloud media servers and mapped directly to your database settings. It is utilized exclusively for rendering custom header details on receipt footers.

4. Data Control & Deletion

Shop owners retain full ownership and administrative control over all records. You can delete transactions, wipe local data, or request permanent deletion of your cloud database backup. Voiding or editing a transaction performs automatic cascading inventory adjustments locally and in the cloud backup.
